Well if you do, then come by and read BETWEEN THE WORLDS, it's a new blog I created in the name of the main character from my short story Extreme Prejudice.
I'm finally going through and re-writing the story, updating it a bit, and putting the dialogue in correctly. Once I'm done re-writing the story I will be continuing Ethan's adventures by having him move to the Pacific Northwest where his life will intertwine with my own. I'll have Ethan living in the town in which I now live and be including real people and places in the stories to give it a bit of realism. Since there is a naval base on the island that I live I can have Ethan interact with magickal people from all over the country (New Orleans Voodoo practitioners, Witches from Salem, Shamans, etc...) There's a lot of material to draw from here. There's be lots of links and local pictures furthur blurring the line between reality and fiction.
The spells and rituals used by Ethan and his foes will be realistic, although the will have comic book like results, similiar to Charmed or Buffy. Though Ethan identifies as Pagan, he's from the South East, so there will be some hoodoo in there as well. So basically this is my chance to live out my magickal fantasies through someone else.
